Higher Degree
Solve x4 - 5x2 = -4 by doing the
following: Use The Addition Property of Equality to add to both
sides and make the right side = 0. Then use The Distributive Property
to factor, and then use The Zero Product Law to obtain solvable
equations. Then solve each equation and list properties used.
Note that this factors much like a quadratic.
