Other Types of Equations Exercise 5 - Equations Containing Radical Expressions

Solve the equation shown below by using The Addition Property of Equality to add -x to both sides and isolate the radical, and then Square Both Sides To Eliminate The Radical  using the property to get a quadratic.  Solve the quadratic and justify all steps to find possible solutions.  Check to see which are actual solutions and which are extraneous.
